Director Parasuram, who delivered a blockbuster with Geetha Govindam last year, might be have something bigger planned for his next. Reports suggest he has impressed actor Mahesh Babu with a script, and in all probability, this film will go on floors early next year.

It is believed that Parasuram recently met Mahesh and pitched a storyline which impressed the Srimanthudu actor, who then gave his go-ahead almost immediately.

It may be recalled that Parasuram is committed to direct his follow-up film to Geetha Govindam under Geetha Arts banner, and if the buzz is anything to go by, Allu Arvind will co-produce this Mahesh Babu project with Dil Raju.

Apart from this film, Mahesh is also in talks with Arjun Reddy-fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a crime thriller, and the actor also has a project with Trivikram Srinivas in the pipeline. In the interim, he will start shooting for the Anil Ravipudi film, which features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
