WWE-wrestler John Cena, who is a part of Fast and Furious 9, where he will share screen space with Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, has termed the film a great opportunity in a recent interview.

“They have a way of weaving this family narrative and making it a truly successful and globally reaching franchise. They're also known for delivering the larger-than-life action and continue to outdo themselves,” he has said, in an interview to Entertainment Weekly. The actor has also thanked Vin Diesel, saying that the Diesel’s earlier message on social media played a huge role in him bagging the role.

John Cena made his film debut with the 2006 film The Marine. He was last seen in the 2018 film Bumblebee.

Fast & Furious 9 is slated to be released on May 22, 2020.
