Sai Dharam Tej is looking forward to his Friday release, Prathi Roju Pandaage. A family entertainer is about a grandson who comes all the way from abroad to be with his grandfather, who is in the last few weeks of his life. "I have chosen this film as I felt that this story gives a different spin to a family entertainer. Prathi Roju Pandaage is about how a terminally-ill old man, who was ignored by his own family, spends his last days with them," reveals Tej. 

He continues, "I will be seen as Sathyaraj's grandson, who doesn't leave any opportunity to make his grandfather happy. The title says, 'Every day is a celebration', and true to it, director Maruthi has blended this emotional story with a dash of romance, drama, and entertainment akin to Ugadi pachadi that is made as a concoction of several flavours."

Sai Tej maintains that Prathi Roju Pandaage has no similarities with National-award winning family entertainer Shatamanam Bhavathi. “There is no link between these films. We have highlighted this in the theatrical trailer as well. Our film delves into the grandfather-grandson bond, which was not the case with that film,” he says.

The actor has gone for a body transformation and attained six-pack abs. "Honestly, the story didn't demand a six-pack. But, we have a scene that required me to go shirtless. So I have worked rigorously to get washboard abs," says Tej, who feels he is not under pressure to deliver a hit. "I always strive to work in a film that appeals to everyone. This has nothing to do with success or failure. I am getting better and constantly learning something with each film. I completely believe in my director and give my best to help him achieve his vision. At the moment, there's no pressure as I strongly believe that we have made a good film."
