Ganesh burnt the midnight oil for 15 days straight while shooting for his first horror-comedy film Gimmick in Sri Lanka. The team of Naganna’s directorial is just back after having completed major portions of the film.

“This particular schedule was all about the film’s theme -- horror, and it was my first experience shooting at one stretch during the nights,” says Ganesh, adding, “We used to start shooting at 6 in the evening and wrap up at 5 am the next day. My entire sleep cycle has changed with this shoot.”

He goes on to say, “Since we mostly shot for horror sequences, the ghost talk, the darkness of the night added to the setting. But we had the best team. Our large crew, including Sunder Raj, Shobhraj, Gurudutt, Ravi Shankar Gowda, had a blast.”

Now, the actor has only 10 to 15 days of shoot pending, which includes the climax fight, two songs and bit of patch work.

Ganesh has had a hectic schedule lately with his reality show, Super Minute, and various films keeping him busy round the clock. “With commoners participating in the show, it has added to the excitement of the game. I am enjoying every minute of this reality show,”  he says.

The actor’s next film that is ready for release is Prashant Raj’s directorial Orange. Ganesh will start promotions for the film from October 25, when the team plans to release the first single song from the album scored by S Thaman. Orange will be Priya Anand’s second outing in Kannada after Raajakumara

Ganesh’s next film is Geetha is extra special for him. The actor, who will start shooting for the project from December, says, “It will be a one-of-its-kind film for the entire crew. I’m saying this after having gone through the screenplay for the film. I have done the first dialogue reading, and I can say that it is shaping up well,” he says. Geetha also stars Parvathy  Arun as one of its three heroines.
