Working with Raj Kumar Gupta is a treat: Amit Bimrot

The debutant actor shares his experience of working with the director

Director Raj Kumar Gupta, known for helming films like No One Killed Jessica and Aamir, gives freedom to the actors he works with, says newcomer Amit Bimrot. Amit will be seen in Gupta's next directorial titled Raid, which also stars Ajay Devgn.

"It was a big challenge and I was under pressure, but working with Raj sir is like a treat for an actor. Once you get to understand him, you enjoy each and every second of the shoot. He has a great understanding and clarity of what he wants," says Amit.

"He gives complete freedom to the actors. Working with him has been a learning and inspirational process," he adds.

Recalling the first day of the film's shoot, he says, "When I reached the set, I told him that I am a newcomer. He then told me to do as he says. Then I just listened to him and completed the shoot."

The actor always wished to work in a film that was a "perfect combination of sensible and commercial cinema."

"It's a blessing that I got it in my first film. I also celebrated my birthday during the shoot and that's the best memory," he signs off.
