An RJ, singer, and voice-over artiste, Sumanth Bhat is turning full-time actor with Loudspeaker. Shiva Tejas, whose last outing was Dhairyam, is helming this project, a multi-starrer comedy that deals with friendship.

The debutant is one among seven lead actors in the film. “Being part of a large cast is the the only way a newcomer’s graph can take off. As a solo hero, I would have had to shoulder the responsibility, or more like burden, of the film. A multi-starrer can help me bag solo projects in the future,” he says.

Loudspeaker explores friendship among married men. “It’s a typical weekend party that goes haywire. It is a dark comedy, a concept that caters to all kinds of audience,” says Sumanth, adding, “The film also sends across a message, especially for those who love to have a phone conversation on the loudspeaker.”
