The Hindi Singham franchise, directed by Rohit Shetty, performed extremely well at the box office and gained its own set of fans for its unique treatment. Now, the director of the film has announced that he is currently working on a female version of the Singham series.

The filmmaker broke the news in a media interaction with the press during the launch of the animated children's adaptation of Singham called Little Singham. The filmmaker, however, did not specify which female actor he has in mind for the role, nor the launch date of the project.
