Underlying theme will connect the two parts: Susi Ganesan

Thiruttu Payale 2 is set to hit the screens a decade after the release of the first part

Director Susi Ganesan says the underlying theme of privacy in today's digital world will be the connecting factor between both the parts of his film Thiruttu Payale.

"Even though the second part is releasing a decade later, there will be an underlying theme which will connect it with the first. Those who watched the first part and enjoyed it, will enjoy the second film equally because of the common theme," Susi says.

Talking about the context of the film, he says, "What happens when someone's secret falls into the hands of another? It's very much possible in today's digital world and that's what we have addressed through the film."

He also adds that the plot of his film can be stretched into many parts. "Digital crimes are increasing on a day-to-day basis. So many of these stories can be made into films," he says.

The film stars Prasanna, Amala Paul and Bobby Simhaa in the lead. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the sequel is gearing up for an August release.
