The day began with the housemates dancing for the yesteryear golden number, Ponmagal Vandhal

Since the previous night's tasks went quite late into the night, the Bigg Boss team has provided breakfast for the housemates

Anitha tries to find solace in the chaos that is the Bigg Boss house. She isn't pleased that the housemates are not even listening to her version of events and are siding with Suresh

There are clearly two groups in the house, and it was the most evident in the way Anitha-Suresh's issue was dealt with in those groups. Bala seems to have been the only comfort for Anitha

Discussing with the Bigg Boss about how to play this game, Anitha breaks down after a point after feeling overwhelmed by the things happening to her inside the house

As a temporary relief from the fights and emotions, there is a new task announced. The Gold Mine task where housemates need to collect gold and keep it safe

Finally! We see Samyuktha at the centre of a tiff. She isn't happy with Sanam trying to 'poke her nose' in everything and wanting to have 'a say in everything'

The expedition game that started off in groups of four, finally ends with all sixteen trying to get their share of gold. CHAOS!

Some are hiding the gold, some try to steal it. This game of police-robbers will surely keep the interest factor at a high as the week progresses

But a higher high point is reached soon. Bala is asleep. Archana wants the cleaning team to clean the hall. Now, who will awake the sleeping tiger?

Words are said. Tempers flare. Bala is awake. And there is no filter anymore as he proclaims, 'Irunga, naa captain aagaren, unga ellaaryum ammi araikka vekkaren' Will this be miscontrued? Of course!

Bala continues to hit the raw nerve of some housemates, mainly Velmurugan and Archana, which in turn, riles up Rio too. Quite expected.

Rio questions Bala for his statement, which some try to make it as a women-targetted statement. Bala outrightly denies it but is told it wasn't right for him to say it. Bala stands his ground.
