Apple TV Plus: Known for its originals, Apple TV Plus became active in India just a few months back. All buyers of new Apple products are eligible for a free one year subscription. Cost: Rs 99/month

Zee5: Apart from a collection of films in various Indian languages, Zee5 also boasts a plethora of regional originals. Cost: Rs 999 per year

YouTube Premium: With a YouTube Premium membership, one gets ad-free access to the entire library of videos that in the video giant's disposal -- right from songs and films. Cost: Rs 129 per month

Mubi: The latest player in the market, Mubi has 30 films -- one film gets added every day and it will be available for 30 days before expiring and giving way for another. Cost: Rs 499 per month

Voot: The go-to platform for Hindi soaps, Voot recently started concentrating on originals which are free of cost to view.

HOOQ: If you're a fan of Hollywood content and don't want it to be mixed with regional ones, HOOQ is for you. The platform has a good list of films and series.

Flipkart Video: This app only platform offers over 5000 TV shows, movies, and short films in a variety of languages and everything's free to view.
