Action Teaser breakdown: 40 striking frames involving Vishal and Tamannaah that hint at an adrenalin-packed, visual spectacle

The film, directed by Sundar C, is said to be a full-on, action-packed, thrill ride - a genre Tamil cinema has not attempted for some time now

The stunts and the chase set-pieces seem to justify the choice of the title for the film, the third association of Vishal and director Sundar C after Aambala and Madha Gaja Raja.

Vishal and Tamannaah reportedly play under-cover special agents in the action-thriller

The one-minute video has plenty of guns, dirt bikes, bikes, ATVs, motor boats and cars.

Name any vehicle and they’ve got it. There’s even a plane in it!

Vishal and Tamannaah are forever on the run in the teaser.

They are dangerously falling off balconies, long jumping across terraces while delivering the strongest of kicks and flying on bikes.

In one shot, Vishal even does a backbend, with his legs twisted around the railing of a bridge, holding on to an upturned Tamannaah!

Amidst all the high action drama, there is Akansha Puri walking in a bikini on the beach side.

Vishal also manages to romance with yet another heroine, Aishwarya Lekshmi (in her Tamil debut), in a brightly lit, flower-decorated courtyard.

The majority of the action-entertainer has been shot in Turkey and Azerbaijan

The film's stunts have been choreographed by National Award-winning action directors Anbariv

A Boeing 757-200 flight was recently hired by the team for the climax action block.

Director Sundar C has apparently roped in foreign stunt co-ordinators for some action blocks, in addition to Anbariv.

Action has music by Hiphop Tamizha

This film is Tamannaah's second collaboration with Vishal after Kaththi Sandai.

Action will reportedly be Vishal’s most expensive film till date.

In addition to Turkey and and Azerbaijan, Action has also been shot in Cappadocia, Baku, Istanbul.

The scenes involving the boat chase were reportedly shot in Krabi Island.

Dudlee has handled the cinematography for Action.

The film also has Yogi Babu, Pala. Karuppaiah, Chaya Singh, and Kabir Duhan Singh in pivotal characters.

The teaser features the words ‘When the brave rise’ followed by its title.

Action is produced on a grand scale by R. Ravindran under the banner Trident Arts.

The film is expected to get a release later this year.
