(Special Mention 1) Devrai (2004): A critically-acclaimed Marathi film about a schizophrenic man and his caring sister. The film was produced by the Schizophrenia Awareness Association.
(Special Mention 2) Peranbu (2019) A single father tries to raise his daughter, who has cerebral palsy, even as she is beginning to wake up to her sexuality, in this Tamil film, directed by Ram.
