The Rumi quote — “Don’t be satisfied with the stories that come before you. Unfold your own myth” — inspired the film.

The ‘Social’ Pub shown in the movie is located in Hauz Khaz Village in New Delhi.

The film was titled Window Seat when it was launched.

Tamasha was shot in 90 days in Corsica, Shimla, Mumbai Delhi, Tokyo, Kolkata.

A village in Madhya Pradesh is named Tamasha. It would turn up in people’s internet searches for the film.
