Gram Chikitsalay S2 premiere date: When to watch the Amol Parashar series

TVF is now returning with the second season of its series Gram Chikitsalay. Starring Amol Parashar and Vinay Pathak in the lead cast, the series will premiere on Prime Video on June 23, the streamer announced on Thursday. 

In Season 2, the series promises to follow the the ever-dedicated Dr. Prabhat (Amol) as he battles fresh obstacles to revive a struggling Primary Health Centre in the fictional village of Bhathkandi - delivering laughs and heart in equal measure.

As Prabhat continues his mission and gradually earns the trust of the villagers despite their skepticism, new challenges continue to emerge at every step. The story also promises to explore the harsh realities of healthcare in rural India laced with humour and emotion, capturing the resilience, warmth, and quirks of village life, besides  delving deeper into the clash between idealism and reality, as Prabhat learns that running a rural healthcare center requires far more than just medical knowledge.

Directed by Lalitam Tiwari and written by Vaibhav Suman and Shreya Srivastava, Gram Chikitsalay also features Akash Makhija, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Garima Vikrant Singh and Dinesh Lal Yadav in key roles.

Since season one, our aim has been to authentically capture rural life in all its realities. The new season builds on that vision by depicting the challenges of delivering healthcare, the quirks, deep community bonds, and resilience that define rural living, brought to life by nuanced and relatable characters.”
