Arjun Das and Anna Ben's latest heist comedy drama film Con City, directed by debutant Harish Durairaj is all to premiere on OTT soon.

Con City, which released in theatres on June 26, revolves around an ordinary family in Mangalore, comprising of Arjun Das, Anna Ben, Yogi Babu and Vadivukkarasi, who are secretly a gang of skilled scam artists. When Arjun and Anna's disabled son, Jeeva, is kidnapped, the family must execute one final, elaborate con to uncover the abductor and get the boy back.

Con City also stars Akhilan, Nanda Gopal, Sakshi Vaidya, Dheepa Ramanujam, Arul Doss, Radha Ravi, Shaji Chen, Ramesh Thilak, Thambi Ramaiah, Imman Annachi, Baradwaj Rangan, Madan Dakshinamoorthy, Ragu Esaki, Ponvannan, and Sathanand, among others.

Upon release, the film was received with mixed reviews from audiences and critics.

In our CE review of the film, we had written, "Con City is bloated with redundant self-serving scenes, try-hard stylisation, and writing choices that it believes are required for a film about financial fraud. At many instances, the film loves presenting itself as smarter than it actually is. Even though it tries hard to move away from the “heist film” tag, Con City relies too much on elements we are familiar with in the heist genre."

On the technical team, Con City has cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan, editing by Arulmoses A and art direction by Raj Kamal. The film is produced by Power House Pictures in their maiden venture in association with M&M Movie Makers and Klout Studios.

Con City is set for premiere on Netflix from July 24.
