Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh, who officially separated in 2022 after being married for 24 years, are now making headlines with their appearance on the Prime Video series Alliance. During one of the recent episodes, Sohail shared an anecdote about their elder son, and the name he initially thought of for him.
During an interaction with Aly Goni, as Aly praised Sohail’s children for being ‘well-manned,' Sohail candidly shared that he had initially thought to name his firstborn as ‘Ram Khan’. He said, “When Seema was carrying Nirvaan, we jokingly decided that if we had a baby boy, I would get to name him, and if we had a baby girl, she would name her. I wanted to name my son Ram. Ram Khan. We are very secular that way.”
He also revealed that eventually, Seema had the final say on the matter. “When Seema regained consciousness after giving birth, she had already thought of a name. She looked at me, still a little drowsy, and asked, ‘How is Nirvaan doing?’ She said it in such a way that I didn’t want to change it after that,” he added.
Sohail and Seema, who eloped together in 1998 to get married, separated in 2022 after 24 years of marriage. Seema is currently in a relationship with Vikram Ahuja, to whom she had been engaged before marrying Sohail.
Alliance, which is being hosted by Kunal Kemmu, began streaming on June 26. Both Sohail and Seema entered the show as wild card entries.
