Nearly a month after its release in theatres, Jayaram and Urvashi's latest film Parimala and Co is all set to premiere on OTT. The murder mystery drama, directed by Pandiraaj also stars Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Ananthika Sanilkumar in leading roles, playing their daughters.

Parimala and Co, which marks the reunion of the two veteran stars after two decades, revolves around a middle-class family who become entangled in a murder mystery. A local gangster terrorising their youngest daughter is found dead under mysterious circumstances. After the news breaks out, everyone in the titular family suspects each other. Who has committed the murder and what is the feud between the family and the gangster, forms the rest of the story.

Upon release in theatres, the film was met with mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office. An excerpt from our CE review of the film read, "In many ways, Parimala and Co is cut from the same cloth as Pandiraaj’s very own Kathakali. A history-sheeter is dead. There, it was Thamba, here it is Varghese (Sandy). A family with an axe to grind is considered the prime suspect. Nevertheless, the genre borders on dark comedy, which is, unfortunately, not the film’s strong suit, and Parimala and Co ends up being a half-hearted attempt that goes around in circles and gets nowhere."

Other members of the cast of Parimala and Co include Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sandy, Santosh and Sobhan.

The film's technical team comprises cinematographer George C Williams, music composer Foxn, and editor Pradeep E Ragav.

Parimala and Co is set to premiere on Zee5 OTT platform on July 10.
