Mrunal Thakur-Siddhanth Chaturvedi starrer romance Do Deewane Seher Mein, which had a theatrical release in February this year, will soon have its OTT premiere. While the streamer hasn’t officially announced it yet, one can see the film’s listing on Netflix, which mentions that it will be available on Friday, April 17.

Do Deewane Seher Mein is directed by Ravi Udyawar, who has previously made films like Mom and Yudhra. The film tells the story of Shashank and Roshni, two upper-middle class people doing well in their professional lives, even as if they struggle with major insecurities about themselves. How the two learn to complement each other as they overcome their fears forms the crux of the story.

The romantic drama also featured Ayesha Raza, Ila Arun, Naveen Kaushik, Mona Ambegaonkar, Viraj Ghelani and Sandeepa Dhar. Abhiruchi Chand wrote the script for the film.  In our review for the film, we noted, “There is a lot of clumsiness in the way the story proceeds, without much coherence or a strong dramatic arc. Resultantly, the second half becomes an awkwardly staged collection of slice-of-life moments and confrontational conversations that never build enough tension. The film never quite finds its rhythm.”

Made on a reportedly modest budget of Rs 40 crore, the film struggled at the box office, garnering only Rs 9.27 crore (nett).

Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur had another major release yesterday with Dacoit, the Telugu-Hindi bilingual that has registered decent figures on its opening day, collecting Rs 6.55 crores (nett).
