Priyadarshi and Niharika NM’s latest buddy comedy Mithra Mandali will soon arrive on OTT platform Prime Video. However, the film will be a "brand new version", revealed the Court actor. Announcing the post on his X handle, Priyadarshi said the makers had taken audience reviews and feedback into consideration and have trimmed and re-cut the film for its OTT viewers. "We laughed, we learnt, we recut. Mithra Mandali gets a brand new version. This time, sharper and lot funnier," he wrote, revealing that the film will be available to stream from November 6 onwards.

It is to be noted that the film, directed by Vijayendra, was met with mixed reviews upon release on October 15 where it clashed with Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Telusu Kada and Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp during the Diwali weekend. The new version is set to offer a fresh perspective for audiences viewing on the platform.

Our CE review of the film read, "Mithra Mandali suffers from the one thing a comedy can never afford, overconfidence. It’s a film that doesn’t just tell jokes, it insists you laugh at them. The score blares, the edit jumps, the lyrics scream “funny,” as if terrified that the audience won’t get it otherwise."

Mithra Mandali features an ensemble cast which includes Vennela Kishore, Satya, Rag Mayur, Vishnu Oi, Prasad Behara, VTV Ganesh, and a special appearance by Brahmanandam.

On the technical front, the film has music by RR Dhruvan, cinematography by Siddharth SJ, and editing by PK, with Gandhi Nadikudikar handling production design. The film is produced by Kalyan Manthena, Bhanu Pratap, and Dr Vijayendra Reddy Teegala, and presented by Bunny Vass under BV Works.
