After a successful four-week run at the box office, Tourist Family, starring Sasikumar and Simran is all set to arrive on OTT. JioHotstar had announced that the film will start streaming on their platform from June 2. Directed by debutant Abishan Jeevinth and released on May 1, the film received critical and commercial acclaim for its storytelling and performances and managed to earn over Rs 82 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk.

Tourist Family revolves around a Tamil family fleeing Sri Lanka due to the island nation's post-Covid economic crisis and making a livelihood in Tamil Nadu. How the family and community come together in the face of adversity forms the plot of this film.

The film, released on May 1, also stars Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel and Sreeja Ravi.

Tourist Family is produced by Pasilian Nazerath, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment banners. The film's technical crew comprises music composer Sean Roldan, cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan, editor Barath Vikraman, art director Raj Kamal, and lyricist Mohan Rajan.
