The makers of Mazaka announced the OTT premiere date for their film on Tuesday. The comedy entertainer, which had a theatrical release in February, will begin streaming on Zee5 from March 28.

Starring Sundeep Kishn, Rao Ramesh, Anshu and Ritu Varma in the lead cast, Mazaka told the story of a goofy father-son duo who are looking for suitable romantic partners in order to fulfil their idea of a complete family. While the duo finds their soulmates in Meera (Ritu Varma) and Yashoda (Anshu), they are unaware of the bitter history their partners share with each other.

Mazaka is written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. In our review for the film, we noted, “Sundeep Kishn struggles to match Ramesh’s unhinged energy but shares an endearing chemistry with the Pushpa 2 actor, and the two salvage many mediocre scenes with their timing. Even when the sentimentality lands, it is because of the earnestness on display by both these actors.”

The film also starred Murali Sharma in a significant role.
