House of Guinness sets a premiere date

With Cahal Bannon and Howard Burch serving as producers, Tom Shankland and Mounia Akl are directing the series

Netflix's upcoming drama House of Guinness has been garnering attention since its announcement, as it is written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

The latest update from the makers is that the series will begin streaming on the platform on September 25.

The series, set in 19th century Dublin and New York, explores Ireland's Guinness family dynasty, the family behind the brewing and distributing of the famous stout ale. House of Guinness is centered around events after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the one responsible behind the stupendous success of the Guinness brewery. The undertaking is managed by his children, Arthur (Anthony Boyle), Edward (Louis Partridge), Anne (Emily Fairn), and Ben (Fionn O'Shea).

The series' cast is rounded by James Norton, Jack Gleeson, Dervla Kirwan, Niamh McCormack, Danielle Galligan, Seamus O'Hara, Ann Skelly, Michael McElhatton, Michael Colgan, David Wilmot, Jessica Reynolds, Elizabeth Daulau, and Hilda Fay.
