Netflix on Thursday released the trailer for its upcoming action thriller, The Shadow Strays. Helmed by Timo Tjahjanto, the film premieres on the streaming platform on October 17, 2024. It stars Aurora Ribero and Hana Malasan in the lead roles and is based out of Indonesia.

The official plotline reads, "Her eagerness to save a young boy drives a trained assassin codenamed 13 (Aurora Ribero) to fight anyone who stands in her way, including her mentor (Hana Malasan) and her organisation, The Shadow."

A quote from the director goes, "The Shadow Strays talks about having this feeling of love and having to express it. That’s the heart of the story." He is also directing the upcoming film Nobody 2, a sequel to the 2021 film Nobody. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
