Bandish Bandits season 2 to premiere on this date

The show, created by Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Singh Bindra, is headlined by Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry

We announced earlier that the musical-drama series Bandish Bandits is set to get a season 2, which will premiere on Prime Video in December. Now, the streaming service took to social media on Wednesday to unveil the exact date of the show’s release. Season 2 of the Anand Tiwari-directorial will premiere on December 13.

The show, co-created by Amritpal Singh Bindra, along with Anand, is headlined by Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry. It also stars Sheeba Chadha, Divya Dutta, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Rohan Gurbaxani, Yashaswini Dayama, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Saurabh Nayyar in pivotal roles.

The first season of the series released on Prime Video in 2020. It tells the story of two individuals, Radhe (Ritwik) and Tamanna (Shreya), hailing from different musical backgrounds who eventually fall in love. The show explores the clash between Hindustani classical music and pop-music.

Bandish Bandits is written by director-creator Anand Tiwari himself, along with Atmika Didwania and Karan Singh Tyagi. It is produced by Leo Media Collective Private Limited and co-produced by Dimple Mathias. It features music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
