A new film, Subedaar starring Anil Kapoor was announced by Prime Video on Tuesday. The film is directed by Suresh Triveni who has also co-written it with Prajwal Chandrashekar.

The streaming platform shared a still from the film featuring Anil holding a rifle in his hands. They wrote in the caption, “In an adrenaline fuelled action drama, Subedaar Arjun Singh grapples with civilian life, navigating a strained relationship with his daughter and societal dysfunction. The man who once fought for the nation, must now fight enemies within to protect his home and family.”

The film is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Suresh Triveni and Anil Kapoor. More details from the project are awaited.
