Netflix is making announcements regarding its slate of Tamil films for 2024, under the Netflix Pandigai tag on social media. As a part of the announcements, the streamer has announced that the post-theatrical digital rights of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film with Rajkumar Periasamy, SK21, has been bagged by them. 

Other films in the list so far, include Revolver Rita, Maharaja, and Kannivedi. Ajith's 62nd film, Vidaamuyarchi is also a part of the slate, as announced last year. 

Sai Pallavi has been roped in to play the female lead of SK21. Costume designer Amritha Ram, action director Stefan Richter and editor Kalaivanan R are also on board. The film's music will be composed by GV Prakash. 

SK21 is backed by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner. Sony Pictures International Productions is co-producing the film. The makers have kept details regarding additional cast, crew, and plot under wraps.
