New song ‘Class’ from Emraan Hashmi’s Showtime out

The song ‘Class’ from Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming series, Showtime, was released by the makers on Wednesday. It features Mouni Roy and rapper Badshah who has sung it with Diesby and Nikhita Gandhi. The series is created by Sumit Roy, with Mihir Desai serving as the showrunner. Mihir has also directed the show with Archit Kumar. Besides Emraan and Mouni, the show also stars Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Vishal Vashishtha, Neeraj Madhav, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles.

The song is part of a shoot within the series where Mouni and Badshah perform for the camera on the set. Later, Emraan is seen being a spectator of the shoot. He plays a producer in the series and towards the end he has a conversation with Badshah. It is composed by Diesby who has written the lyrics with Badshah.

Showtime is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, a digital extension of Dharma Productions. It is scheduled to release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 8.
