The trailer of Maamla Legal Hai, starring Ravi Kishan, was released by the makers on Friday. It also stars Nidhi Bisht, Anant V Joshi, Naila Grewal and Yashpal Sharma in pivotal roles. With Sameer Saxena as the showrunner, the series is directed by Rahul Pandey and written by Saurabh Khanna and Kunal Aneja.

The trailer gives a sneak peek into the chaotic world of the fictional Patparganj District Court. A team of lawyers handles some bizarre cases with a blend of humour. From a parrot being put on trial due to its foul language to other odd cases based on real incidents, the series promises to be a quirky courtroom comedy. The trailer ends with the character of Ravi Kishan having a conversation with a senior judge about how much money he makes.

Speaking about the show, Ravi Kishan shared in a press release, “This is my first time donning the character of a lawyer and I can't tell you how much fun it was. Working with Sameer, Rahul, and Saurabh was a delight, their vision truly inspired me. When they first narrated the show to me, I couldn't say no, simply because I could visualize these characters and their shenanigans.”

Maamla Legal Hai is produced by Amit Golani, Biswapati Sarkar, Sameer Saxena and Saurabh Khanna. It will premiere on Netflix on March 1.
