Young-adult series Dil Dosti Dilemma was announced by Prime Video on Friday. The show stars seasoned actors like Tanvi Azmi, along with Anushka Sen, Kush Jotwani, Shishir Sharma as leads and Shruti Seth, Vishakha Pandey, Revathi Pillai, Elisha Mayor, and Suhasini Mulay in pivotal roles. Directed by Debbie Rao, the series is based on Andaleeb Wajid’s bildungsroman Asmara’s Summer. It is written for the screen by Anuradha Tiwari, Bugs Bhargava Krishna, Raghav Dutt, and Manjiri Pupala.

As per a press note shared by the makers, Dil Dosti Dilemma tells the story of Asmara, a popular, witty and charming young girl. Her summer takes an unexpected turn when she is sent to her grandparents' house as a form of punishment. To maintain appearances with her friends, she pretends to be in Canada. Will this experience become a nightmare, a journey of personal growth, or both?

Seema Mohapatra and Jahanara Bhargava of Ten Years Younger Productions serve as creative producers on the series. It will premiere on Prime Video on April 25.
