Michelle Yeoh's The Brothers Sun gets release date

The show will consist of eight episodes with Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu serving as creators

Netflix released the teaser of its upcoming series The Brothers Sun, starring Michelle Yeoh in the lead role. An action comedy drama that will focus on the dysfunctionalities of a family and interpersonal dynamics, the series also stars Justin Chien, and Sam Song Li, among others.

The series will premiere on January 4, 2024. 

The show will consist of eight episodes with Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu serving as creators. The Brothers Sun will be about two estranged brothers, one a college student and other a gangster. While the tragedy strikes the family, and some miscreants hunting down the family, it is up to each one of them to save the other.

The cast includes Justin Chien, Michelle Yeoh, Highdee Kuan, Sam Song Li, Joon Lee, Madison Hu, Alice Hewkin, among others. The series went on floors in July 2022 and wrapped up in September that year. It was shot in Taipei City, Los Angeles and California.
