Max renews Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake for another season

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake has been renewed for a second season by Max. The series is a spinoff of Adventure Time which had its run on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2018. 

It follows the titular Fionna (Madeleine Martin) and Cake, her sidekick voiced by Roz Ryan, who are forced to turn to Simon Petrikov, the previous Ice King (Tom Kenny), for assistance after coming under attack by a formidable new adversary. 

Marshall Lee (Donald Glover), Marceline the Vampire Queen (Olivia Olson), Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch) and Finn the Human (Jeremy Shada) reprise their roles from the original Adventure Time, in Fionna and Cake. Andrew Rannells as Gary Prince, Sean Rohani as Prismo and Kayleigh McKee as the Scarab, round out the cast of the animated series. 

It is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, Adam Muto serves as showrunner and executive produces with Fred Seibert and Sam Register.
