The makers of L 360, directed by Tharun Moorthy, have released a special BTS video on the occasion of Mohanlal's birthday. The BTS video shows the shooting glimpses from the sets and finally reveals the actor's look from the film. Along with the birthday wishes to the actor, the team has also stated in the video, "We are witnessing greatness. You will too, soon."

L 360, featuring Shobana as the female lead, also stars Binu Pappu, Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, and Aanandam-fame Thomas Mathew in prominent roles. The film is jointly scripted by K R Sunil and director Tharun. It has editing by Nishadh Yusuf, music and score by Jakes Bejoy, and sound design by Vishnu Govind. More details about the crew are yet to be revealed. L 360 is produced by M Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.

Mohanlal will be next seen in his directorial debut, Barroz, scheduled to hit the screens worldwide on September 12 as an Onam release. The film is billed as a 3D fantasy adventure.
