We had earlier reported about Vijay Babu's production house Friday Film House attempting an unconventional film with a bunch of pets. Titled Valatty, the film has 11 dogs and a rooster as the leads. On Monday, a motion poster was shared with which the team announced that the film is gearing up to hit screens this year.

The makers also revealed that leading actors from Malayalam cinema have voice-acted for these animals, but they are yet to disclose their names. Apart from Malayalam, the film is also planned to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

Valatty is written and directed by Devan. The filmmaker and his team have been working on the project for over 3 years. It included adopting the dogs as puppies, rearing them, and training them. According to the makers, it's a 'miraculous love story'.

The film has Vishnu Panicker as the cinematographer and Ayoob Khan as the editor. Music is composed by Varun Sunil.
