Kumari trailer: Aishwarya Lekshmi's fantasy-mystery exudes creepy vibes

The trailer of Aishwarya Lekshmi-starrer Kumari has been released. Directed by Ranam-fame Nirmal Sahadev, the film promises to be a fantasy-mystery thriller. It has the look and feel of some of the acclaimed films of this genre, like Manichithrathazhu and Ananthabhadram.

Kumari has Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the titular role of a demure newly married woman who arrives in a land of myths and folklores. Shine Tom Chacko plays the role of her husband in the film. Swasika, Surabhi Lakshmi, Tanvi Ram, Giju John, Shivajith Padmanabhan, Rahul Madhav and Shruthy Menon are also part of the cast.

Newcomer Abraham Joseph is the cinematographer of Kumari while Jakes Bejoy and Manikandan Ayyappa have handled the music department. Sreejith Sarang is editing the film with sound design by Sachin Sudhakaran.

Kumari is set to hit screens on October 28. The film's director Nirmal Sahadev is also co-producing the film with actor Giju John, Jakes Bejoy, and Sreejith Sarang under the banner of their newly launched production company, The Fresh Lime Sodas. Supriya Menon and Prithviraj are presenting the film under the banner of Prithviraj Productions.
