Award-winning filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's next, Vazhakk (Quarrel) is set to be screened at the upcoming International Film Festival of Kerala. Ahead of the premiere, the makers have released its trailer. Starring Tovino Thomas, Kani Kusruti, and Sudev Nair as the leads, the film looks raw and intense.

The trailer primarily follows Tovino's character Sidharthan, who reaches a remote area -- described as a 'notorious location' by one of the characters. He is seen travelling with Kani Kusruti in one scene, and in the next, she is seen trying to immolate herself. Azeez Nedumangad plays the role of her husband. Towards the end, Tovino is seen trying to fight Sudev and his men with a hammer. Though the trailer doesn't reveal anything about the plot, it still manages to pique the viewer's curiosity.

Besides directing, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan has scripted, edited, and handled the film's sound design. It has cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj and music by Prithvi Chandrasekhar.
