Kaapa trailer: Prithviraj and Shaji Kailas are back, this time with a socio-political thriller

After the success of Kaduva, Prithviraj and Shaji Kailas are reuniting for Kaapa. The makers have released its trailer, from which it looks like an action-packed socio-political thriller. Prithviraj plays the role of a gangster named Kotta Madhu in the film. He is seen in two different looks in the trailer as the narrative traverses different timelines. Along with Prithviraj, the film also stars Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, and Anna Ben in the lead. Dileesh Pothan, Nandu, Jagadish, Biju Pappan and Senthil Krishna also star in it.

Kaapa is based on GR Indugopan's novel Shankumukhi. He has also scripted the film, which is centered around the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 2007, popularly known as the Kaapa act, aiming to provide for the effective prevention and control of certain kinds of anti-social activities in the State of Kerala.

Kaapa has cinematography by Jomon T John, music by Dawn Vincent, and edits by Shameer Muhammed. The film is set to hit screens on December 22.
