Anoop Menon's Chiram is set to hit theatres on October 9, the makers announced through social media. Described as an "old-world love story," the film is jointly directed by Sindhu Paradayil and N Sudheer. Sindhu has co-written the screenplay along with K Rajagopal. It features Aiswarya Mithun Koroth, who previously appeared in Porattu Nadakam and Oru Jaathi Jaathakam, as the female lead.

On the technical front, Chiram has cinematography by Anand Bala Krishnan, editing by Sajayan and sound design by Renganath Ravee, with music by M Jayachandran and Girish Narayan. More details regarding the film's extended cast and plot are yet to be disclosed. It is produced by Sathyajith Productions, which is also distributing the film through Valluvanadan Cinema Company.

Anoop Menon was last in the investigative thriller Ee Thani Niram, directed by Ratheesh Nedumangadu. Meanwhile, the Trivandrum Lodge actor-writer is also scripting veteran filmmaker Joshiy's recently announced film Kanaandesham, headlined by Joju George.
