Sajin Gopu, noted for his roles in Aavesham, Ponman and Painkili, and Nikhila Vimal are teaming up for a new film titled Dhoomakethu. The makers released its trailer recently, hinting at a unique time loop concept. The Dhoomakethu trailer shows Sajin and Nikhila's characters getting married but their first night is disturbed by a bunch of masked men who barge into their bedroom. This keeps repeating like a cycle, promising plenty of confusion, chaos and the humour that comes with it.

Dhoomakethu is directed by Sudhi Maddison, who earlier made Neymar. Sonny and Manu have co-written the upcoming film, slated to hit screens worldwide on September 25.

Dhoomakethu also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, and Siddharth Bharathan in prominent roles. The film is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, Sajin Ali, and Abbas Thirunavaya under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and A & HS Production House. It has cinematography by Jinto George, editing by Vivek Harshan, and music direction by Ankit Menon.
