Amal Neerad has pulled off a casting coup with his new film Bachelor Party D'eux. Its first look unveiled on Saturday features all the lead actors: Naslen, Kunchacko Boban, Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, Chandhu Salimkumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Paris Laxmi, Nadiya Moidu, Rajisha Vijayan, Jyothirmayee, and Hansika Krishnakumar. Tovino Thomas is also confirmed to be part of the cast, but his character has been kept under the wraps as of now.
Bachelor Party D'eux, which is set to hit screens on November 19, is jointly produced under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions, Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. It has cinematography by Appu Prabhakar, editing by Vivek Harshan, and music by Christo Xavier. Amal's frequent collaborator Unni R has penned the dialogues.
Bachelor Party D'eux serves as a spiritual sequel to the director's 2012 film, Bachelor Party. The original, a stylish actioner, also had a huge ensemble, including Asif Ali, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kalabhavan Mani, Rahman, Vinayakan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nithya Menen, Ramya Nambessan, and Lena. Although the film couldn't make a major impact at the box office, it's still popular for the lead cast's performances, stylised action, music, and Amal's overall slick treatment.
The director last made Bougainvillea, headlined by his wife Jyothirmayee and Kunchacko Boban. It was also a commercial hit and went on to bag seven Kerala State Awards last year.
