I'm Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, hit theatres around the world on September 03, Thursday. The film marks Dulquer's first Malayalam release in a lead role after 2023's King of Kotha, although he has played a cameo in 2025's Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra as well. Early audiences have been sharing mixed to positive reviews for the film, directed by Nahas Hidhayath of RDX fame. Most of them appreciate the first half of the film and opine that it becomes predictable after the interval. A flashback portion involving Antony Varghese's character has come under their scrutiny, with the detractors saying that this stretch slows down its momentum.

However, audiences have largely been appreciating Dulquer Salmaan's performance in the lead role and the technical aspects of the film, especially Jakes Bejoy's music, in their I'm Game reviews.

Set against the world of gambling and sports betting, I'm Game also stars Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Kathir, Samyuktha Viswanathan, and Vinay Forrt, among others. The film has a script by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker, with dialogues by Adarsh Sukumaran, Shabas Rasheed, and Sajeer Baba.

The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, editor Chaman Chakko, production designer Ajayan Chalissery, and sports choreographer Robert Miller. Besides starring in the lead role, Dulquer has also produced it through his Wayfarer Films banner, alongside Jom Varghese.

I'm Game was initially set for release in the Onam festival season alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran's Khalifa and Nivin Pauly-Mamitha Baiju's Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. However, the makers backed out of the Onam race, instead scheduling it for a September 03 release in theatres worldwide. It now remains to be seen how the film will fare at the box office beyond its opening day.
