Here is what Naslen's Premalu co-star and Mollywood Times director have said about his performance in Scene

Cinema Express Desk

Actor Naslen has made his debut in Tamil cinema with a role in Scene, co-starring Suriya and Nazriya Nazim as well as directed by Jithu Madhavan. The actor's performance as an evil antagonist has captivated audiences in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, with many of them saying that it reinforces his 'future superstar' credentials.

Joining the audience in effusive praise of Naslen is Abhinav Sunder Nayak, who directed the actor in the recent release Mollywood Times. Taking to X, Abhinav wrote, "Naslen in #Scene oozes superstardom. Aura Pro Max!!!" The filmmaker also expressed his admiration for the film, saying that he "thoroughly enjoyed" it. He also expressed his love for Suriya, Nazriya and Jithu Madhavan. Meanwhile, Sangeeth Prathap lauded his Premalu co-star, saying that the latter has made a habit of acing his roles.

In the lead up to the film's release, much of the curiosity around it had been about how and whether it would surprise the viewer, especially because the makers have already signified that he plays an antagonist in it.

Naslen tried to play down the talks of his role in the film in recent promotions. For example, he even said that his character is "paavam" in the film and is not that evil during the Chennai leg of promotions, eliciting big laughs from the film's producer Jyotika in the process. Notably, reviewers and general audiences say that the film has managed to keep the surprise quotient intact, despite the promotional materials revealing the key aspect of Naslen's role in it.

With much appreciation coming in for Naslen, several users also share old clips from his interviews, including one where the actor said that he would like to explore diverse characters. The character of Eeshwaran in Scene has marked the first antagonist role in his career, which viewers deem a refreshing departure from his boy-next-door roles.
