Sangeeth Prathap, the actor known for his role in Premalu and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, and his wife, Ancy, welcomed their first child, a baby girl on Tuesday.
The actor shared the happy news on Instagram in a unique and creative way. The couple posted a maternity shoot video set against a theatre backdrop. The video concludes with the couple announcing the arrival of their baby girl on the theatre screen.
Set against a theatrical backdrop, the video captures the couple's excitement as they prepare to welcome their little one. Sangeeth also shared an emotional note about his wife's courage during childbirth. He mentioned that although she is afraid of even the smallest things, she showed immense courage while giving birth to their daughter.
The actor also expressed his love and admiration for his wife. Recalling the moments when he held her hand through the pain, he said that all he could think about was how much he wished he had loved her even more before. He further shared how emotional he was when he saw his baby for the first time in the delivery room, admitting that he cried like a child. He also reflected on the beautiful transformation of parenthood, saying that just as a child is born, a father is born too.
The actor shared emotional note dedicated to his newborn daughter:
"Kunje, ur mother was always afraid of the smallest things.. She would cry just looking at a single needle. But last night, to bring you into the world, she was braver than anyone I hav ever seen. I have spent most of my life doubting myself and every choice I make. Yesterday I had to make big, important decisions… Holding her hand through the pain, all I could think was how much I wished I had loved her even more before.
When I saw your tiny head come out, I broke down and cried like a child. In that moment, three hearts beat together as one. People say you were born last night. But the truth is, the moment you took your first breath, I was reborn too…"

Sangeeth began his journey in cinema as a film editor and has often described himself as an accidental actor. Following the success of Premalu, he went on to be part of films such as Hridayapoorvam and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. He also made his debut as a lead actor with Medical Miracle, which was released this year.
