In a new controversy, actor Ansiba Hassan, best known for her role as Mohanlal's onscreen daughter in Drishyam, has made some serious accusations against actor-impersonator Tini Tom. In a conversation with Mathrubhumi, Ansiba accused Tiny of calling her a 'Jihadi,' trying to have her religion changed, and spreading a fake narrative about her nonexistent illicit relationships. Ansiba Hassan attributed her resignation from AMMA to Tini's actions. She also said that a female member of the film organisation made a fake complaint against her.

Ansiba resigned from the organisation back in February and put it down to personal reasons and work commitments at the time. The actor said that she had informed AMMA Secretary Cuckoo Parameswaran about the actual reason for her resignation and the organisation's president Shweta Menon about what Tini did to her.

Ansiba said that when there was an intense debate about the title song for the AMMA family meet, she took a secular stance. However, she also reminded the organisation and the audience of her freedom of speech.

Meanwhile, Tini Tom has given his response to the controversy that erupted following the Drishyam star's allegations. Speaking to the media, Tini said that he has not done anything that he has been accused of. Tini added that he never made such comments to Ansiba directly and suggested that she has been misinformed by someone else. The actor-mimicry artist said that the Drishyam actor should have filed a police complaint and taken a legal path instead of making these accusations against him.

Tini added that he has many Muslim friends, denied the insinuation that he has any islamophobic tendencies and refuted the claim that he has called Ansiba a 'JIhadi'.
