Dose, starring Siju Wilson in the lead, will now hit theatres on May 22. The upcoming medical thriller was earlier slated to hit screens on April 24 before being postponed. The new release date was announced along with the trailer launch. The promo gives a glimpse of a tense thriller built around high-pressure situations inside a hospital setting. It hints at a story driven by urgency, moral dilemmas and life-or-death stakes.
Dose is written and directed by debutant Abhilash R Nair and is said to be inspired by shocking real-life incidents. The film also features Jagadish, Ashwin Kumar, Drishya Raghunath and Krisha Kurup in key roles. On the technical side, it has music by Gopi Sunder, cinematography by Vishnu Prasad and editing by Shyam Sasidharan. Dose is backed by Shanto Thomas, with Ankit Trivedi as co-producer.
Siju’s upcoming slate also includes VK Prakash's Bangalore High, co-starring Shine Tom Chacko, Junaid Muhammed's Boom Bang, Nikhil Geeth's Munnottu, and Arun M Sivan's untitled film.
