Earlier this Saturday, the makers of Vaazha 2 - Biopic of Billion Bros dropped an official trailer for the film, directed by Savin SA from a screenplay by Vipin Das. The film serves as a sequel to 2024's Vaazha - Biopic of a Billion Boys, directed by Anand Menen from Vipin's own screenplay. The Vaazha 2 trailer promises a film that blends comedy with emotional and nostalgic elements.

The film brings back Hashir, Ajin Joy, Vinayak, and Alan Bin Siraj in prominent roles after their brief appearances in Vaazha - Biopic of a Billion Boys. The cast also includes Alphonse Puthren, Biju Kuttan, Sudheesh, Vijay Babu, as well as prominent content creators such as Sabir S, Nihal Nizam, Ameen, Nibraz Noushad, Devaraj TR, and Shahubas.

The trailer has multiple references to Alphonse's 2015 film Premam, starring Nivin Pauly.

Alphonse's cop character can be seen telling a woman, "What is wrong with 'Premam'. What wrong has happened after 'Premam'? Do not say anything ill about it."

The plot follows the titular boys and their fights and adventures in college. The Vaazha 2 trailer ends with some of the characters tearing up with emotions. For the unversed, the term 'Vaazha' is also a slang word that refers to a 'good-for-nothing' person who whiles away time doing things that bring them pleasure.

On the technical front, the Vaazha sequel has cinematography by Akhil Lailasuran, editing by Kannan Mohan, music supervision by Ankit Menon, and background score by A TEAM. The composers of the film comprise Malayali Monkeys, Rajat Prakash (Hatsmyth), Parvatish Pradeep, Rzee, Muthu, Arcado, Jazir Muhammed, Ashwin Aryan, and Electronic Kili.

Produced by writer Vipin himself alongside Harris Desom, Sahu Garapati, P.B Anish, Adarsh Narayan, and Icon Studios, Vaazha 2 - Biopic of Billion Bros is slated for an April 02 release in theatres worldwide. Meanwhile, here is a link to the Vaazha 2 trailer:
