The first single from the Mammootty-Mohanlal starrer Patriot will be out on March 12, announced the film's composer Sushin Shyam on Wednesday. Titled 'Kaattu Thottappol', the romantic duet has lyrics penned by Anwar Ali, with Sai Prabha and Kapil Kapilan on the vocals. The poster for the song features Kunchacko Boban and Darshana Rajendran.

Written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Patriot reunites Mohanlal with Mammootty after more than a decade. The film is billed as an espionage thriller, with Fahadh Faasil playing the antagonist. The ensemble cast also includes Nayanthara, Rajeev Menon, Zarin Shihab, Revathy, Grace Antony, Sreeparvathy, Geethi Sangeetha,  Jinu Joseph, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman and Prakash Belawadi. The technical team includes cinematographer Manush Nandan and music director Sushin Shyam, with editing handled by Mahesh alongside Rahul Radhakrishnan.

Patriot is backed by Anto Joseph and KG Anil Kumar, with C R Salim and Subhash Manuel serving as co-producers. The film is slated to hit theatres worldwide on April 23.
