Apart from acting, Bhavana also co-produced Anomie under her namesake banner

The Tamil dubbed version of the Bhavana-starrer Anomie will hit theatres on March 6, announced the makers. The film, which also stars Rahman in the lead, was released originally in Malayalam on February 6. It is written and directed by Riyas Marath in his directorial debut.  Riyas has previously co-written Neeli (2018), which stars Mamta Mohandas, and Diwanji Moola Grand Prix (2018).

Apart from acting, Bhavana also produced Anomie under her namesake banner, along with Aadith Prassana Kumar of APK Cinema, and Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The cast of the film also includes Shebin Benson, Arjun Lal, Vishnu Agasthya, and Binu Pappu, among others. Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who won a National Award for his work on Animal (2023), composed the music for Anomie. The crew of the film also includes Sujith Sarang as the cinematographer and Kiran Das as the editor.

An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "The film looks good, sounds polished, and is anchored by a committed central performance from Bhavana. But its high-concept ambitions are weighed down by familiar writing, excessive length, and a reluctance to truly break away from formula. It holds your attention in patches, yet leaves surprisingly little behind once everything is laid bare."
