The makers of Chinna Chinna Aasai, starring Indrans and Madhoo in the lead, unveiled the film's trailer on Sunday ahead of its theatrical release on June 19. Set entirely in Varanasi, the trailer opens with montage shots of the city's streets, ghats and temples, accompanied by a voiceover that says, "Though countless stories remained in her heart, the world outside kept moving on." Madhoo is introduced as a middle-aged woman seemingly on a spiritual journey who becomes separated from her tour group. Indrans plays a Malayali who steps in to help after learning that she has lost her way in the ancient city.

As the two navigate Varanasi together, the trailer hints at a deeper emotional journey. "Would they really be looking for me?" wonders Madhoo's character in a moment. The trailer also introduces characters played by Vishnu Agasthya, Jafar Sadiq and Aparna Balamurali. In one scene, Jafar's character ominously remarks, "Those who get lost here usually never go back."

The focus remains on the growing bond between the lead pair. Madhoo's character repeatedly asks Indrans, "Can I trust you?", before later admitting, "Such a feeling, I've never experienced it in my life."

Varsha Vasudev has written and directed Chinna Chinna Aasai, in her feature film debut. She previously helmed the acclaimed short film Ente Narayanikku. Chinna Chinna Aasai is produced by Abhijith Babuji under the Babuji Productions banner. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, editor Reckson Joseph and composer Govind Vasantha.
