The makers of the upcoming Malayalam-Tamil bilingual Chinna Chinna Aasai have unveiled the character poster of actor Vishnu Agasthya, marking the first official announcement of his involvement in the film. He will be playing a character named Siddharth.
The upcoming film stars Indrans and Madhoo in the lead. Earlier, the makers announced that the film is set for a theatrical release on June 19, with Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films handling its distribution in Kerala.
Written and directed by debutant Varsha Vasudev, Chinna Chinna Aasai has been shot entirely in Varanasi. Varsha previously directed the acclaimed Malayalam short film Ente Narayanikku. The upcoming film is produced by Abhijith Babuji under the banner Babuji Productions. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, editor Reckson Joseph, and music composer Govind Vasantha.
Madhoo was last seen in the Mohanlal-led Telugu film Kannappa, while Indrans was most recently seen in a prominent role in the Tamil film Karuppu, headlined by Suriya.
Vishnu was last seen in a pivotal role in the recently released festival entertainer Athiradi, starring Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph in the lead. The Masthishka Maranam actor is best known for his performances in the actioners RDX and Rifle Club.
