Actor Anagha Maya Ravi, known for her roles in Kaathal: The Core with Mammootty and Jyotika and in Karuppu with Suriya, Indrans and RJ Balaji, shared her thoughts on the ongoing student protests over NEET paper leaks. Anagha said that people should participate in the protest in their own way instead of just keeping themselves up to date with the events. "When the full picture isn't reaching enough people through mainstream media, we can't just scroll past and hope someone else speaks. Social media gives us the chance to share verified information and voices from the ground. Every person who chooses to share the truth helps it reach further, and sometimes that's exactly how change begins. So I am choosing to use my voice," Anagha wrote.

Opposing the notion that only victims of an injustice have to discuss it, the actor added, "The people who are suffering the most are often the ones who don't have the privilege, the influence or the safety to be heard. If you have a voice and people are willing to listen to you, I think you have a responsibility to use it. Not because it's your fight, but because it's the human thing to do."

The Karuppu star also questioned the silence of influential people in the student protest issue. "What disappoints me the most is how many people choose to play it safe, especially people with influence. We call it being neutral, but sometimes it's just fear. And I've realised I'm not interested in protecting my image if it means compromising my conscience. If speaking up affects my career, my reach or even this account, then that's a price I'm willing to pay. I don't want my art to exist separately from my humanity."
